Dena Schrock was born and raised in the Swartzentruber Amish culture with 13 siblings. Dena is a single parent to four grown children who range from 15-20.

 

She resides in the state of Florida and has her own residential and commercial cleaning business. Dena founded ’Voices of Hope’ in early 2018 And is a self-published author of her memoir Behind closed Doors. She also compiled the book Bringing Light into the Darkness.

 

Dena has been on the Dr. Phil show to represent the abuse that goes on among the Amish culture. She has a passion to help women overcome the struggle of feeling like they are not good enough to accomplish the God-given desire they have and says, "It all starts with stepping out of your comfort zone, being vulnerable and sharing your story."
